Every calculator and blog post on Definitive Calc is free to use—no account, no paywall, and no subscription. If a calculator or blog post saved you time, sharpened a decision, or made a tradeoff clearer, a small contribution is a simple way to say thanks.
Calculators give you the numbers; blog posts unpack formulas, edge cases, and real-world tradeoffs so you see why a result matters. Where an answer depends on your inputs or assumptions, the math stays rigorous; the articles make those limits explicit. Support helps both grow together.
Definitive Calc does not currently display advertisements and does not use third-party ad networks on the site. The About, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use pages leave room for future monetization choices—and giving stays voluntary either way. Support is never required; the calculators and blog posts work the same whether you contribute or not.
Integrity by design
Funding stays outside the calculators—and outside the blog posts too. Voluntary contributions are welcome; ads might show up later. Neither shapes formulas, results, or how the write-ups explain tradeoffs and assumptions.
Commercial considerations never influence calculator results or blog posts. Formulas and write-ups ignore how the site is funded.
